How to write a good "Purpose of Trip"
1. Advance Parole (AP) 경우
[질문] Please guide me with some samples as to how to write some good paragraphs which will reflect a compelling reason that I need to travel to India after 6 months to take care of Parent's health related issues and will be back in 2 weeks time.

• Do you already have a trip planned out? If not, you can leave it empty. Since I do not have any plans of travel in near future, my attorneys have left this section blank. The reason does not have to be compelling. You are not presenting/arguing your case here. This is a free country and you are free to travel out.
• Read all instructions. You do not have to complete sections 4 through 6! Section 3 - in big bold letters: "If you are applying for an Advance Parole Document, skip to Part 7"

2. Reentry Permit 경우

Dear USCIS Officer,
I am a U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident since February, 2013.
Before that, I studied nursing for 2 years in Korea from 2011 to 2012 as a college student. I also have attached a copy of my registration so that you can see that I am enrolled.
After I arrived here in the United States, I realized that I need to start over a nursing school due to the different nursing school curriculum. It may take up to 4 years to get a bachelor degree in nursing in the U.S. In this situation, my parents and I made a decision to complete my academic degree in Korea for cheaper educational reasons, and I think it would take up to 2 years.
Although I am going to Korea for academic reasons, but it is not my intention to abandon my Residency status.

•You need to learn how difficult it will be to bring a Korean nursing degree into the US. Four years of schooling in the US will be much more highly regarded than 2 from Korea ... in the job market. Meet with an immigration lawyer ... using a re-entry permit does not look like a good idea.

•Carefully read the Form I-131 instructions: it is a "hybrid", multi-purpose Form. Don't become confused: I don't think you need to state any "purpose" of trip or whatever when applying for a "Reentry Permit", as opposed to, say a "DACA" Advance Parole, which is what I think confused you. Make sure to only file out the section pertaining to the RP -only!
